Today we want to share with you a delicious recipe made by our friend @isabel_mariam88  Chickpeas with homemade tomato sauce and Iberian ham. It is a dish full of intense flavors that you will surely love. Let’s go for it!



  1. We begin by putting the chickpeas to soften the night before, making sure to leave them to soak for at least 12 hours.
  2. Then, we cook them as directed and reserve them. We prepare the homemade tomato sauce following our own favorite recipe.
  3. Cut the Iberian ham into thin slices just before serving.
  4. In a pan, add a little extra virgin olive oil and sauté the chopped garlic along with the chili pepper. Add the drained chickpeas and sauté them until they are hot. Sprinkle with chopped parsley to taste.
  5. We heat our tomato sauce and begin to plaster. Place the sautéed chickpeas on the plate, add the hot tomato sauce on top and top with the slices of Iberian ham.
  6. To give it a touch of freshness, we add a few mint leaves and a splash of good extra virgin olive oil on top.
