Tomato salad with basil

An easy and simple recipe with few ingredients, but three key ingredients that work very well together.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g feta cheese, cubed
  • 150g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 50g black olives, pitted and whole or sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Aceites Palacios tomato and basil oil
  • 5-6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
  • Cut the green pepper into thin strips.
  • Cut the feta cheese into small cubes.
  • In a large bowl, add the cherry tomatoes, green pepper, and black olives.
  • Carefully add the feta cheese so it doesn’t crumble too much.
  • Pour the tomato and basil oil over the ingredients.
  • Gently mix with a wooden spoon or spatula.
  • Taste and adjust the salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the salad on a plate or in a pretty bowl.
    You can add a few whole basil leaves for garnish.
